Attorney Profiles

I graduated from Western State College School of Law as Salutatorian of my class after serving on Law Review throughout law school.  In addition, I served as an extern to Presiding Justice David G. Sills at the Fourth District Court of Appeal, and was named to Who's Who in American Colleges. 

I limit my practice to those matters dealing exclusively with family law.  Of course, "family law" is a broad term encompassing marital dissolution, separation, child custody, child support, spousal support, parentage, adoption, domestic violence, restraining orders, and a host of other issues, including modification of existing orders.  By limiting my practice to family law, I appear frequently in front of the same judges and keep apprised of the latest developments in this rapidly changing body of law so as to give you the best possible advice and service.

Generally speaking, however, it is often in everyone's best interests to reach a disposition of your case without judicial intervention and without going to court.  Our courts have a tremendous workload, and while our judges are dedicated and knowledgeable, no one can know the intimate facts of your case better than you.  Therefore, your best results may be obtained by me working on your behalf with the other party.  If negotiations fail, however, we proceed to litigation.
